About the Venue
"ŌRA, a sophisticated, seductive and sensory wonderland. A place where we challenge ourselves to influence the way you eat, drink, and socialise.
Paying homage to the art of the Japanese chef knife, we blend traditional techniques with contemporary influences alluring you across three distinct offerings: Japanese dining, Omakase and our So She Me cocktail lounge."
At Ora, the ambiance is as refined as the cuisine. Embrace the opportunity to dress your best, opting for sophisticated attire that reflects the restaurant’s upscale atmosphere.
For my visit, I chose an ensemble from our in-house made-to-measure line: a classic white oxford shirt paired with black our in house Brown birds eye trouser, and brown suede Baudin Lange penny loafers. I finished off the look with a made to measure denim shacket (shirt jacket) for a touch of personal expression.
For men, a well-tailored suit or blazer paired with trousers and a crisp dress shirt exudes classic elegance. Consider adding subtle accessories like a pocket square or a statement watch to elevate your look further. To take it to the next phase, a shirt with a subtle print paired with a plain blazer.
Respect for the dining experience extends beyond attire. Take the time to appreciate each dish, savoring the flavors and textures created. Engage with your dining companions, sharing stories and impressions as you sample the menu together. Ora also offer an Omakase experience. Omakase, お任せ, literally translates to ‘I’ll leave it up to you’, with executive Chef Nobuyuki Ura of hatted sushi e fame.
A dinner at Ora isn’t just a meal; it’s an occasion to celebrate life’s moments. Whether you’re marking a special milestone or simply indulging in a night of culinary delights, Ora promises an experience to remember.
